Pray For Haiti

Honestly I havent been paying attention to much news over these past few days, shit as a matter fact i dont watch the news period(I get all my news from Worldstar and other Blogs sadly lol). This story is one of the reasons why, such a horrible tragedy. The death toll somewhere near a hundred thousand I heard. Just a terrible thing that has some questioning their faith and some saying these are signs of the final days. I dont know about all of that, all I can say is its an extremely fucked up situation and the images that ive seen have been heartbreaking.

Shoutout to Wycelf John and his "Yele" organization who help earned over a million dollers too relief and shoutout to every other person who donate money, clothes, food and other needs for relief. If you retweeted a link or just got the word out you did something propz for dat. That's what were suppose to do help eachother out in hard situations. Also Shoutout to Anderson Cooper I seen some amazing footage of him carrying a boy's body thru the carnage that was so dope and deep

You know like even if you arent directly affected by this tragedy you have to atleast feel for them people over there. And it's easy just to turn the channel and watch The Jersey Shore and forget about it and focus on your problems. But I think it's important to atleast pray for them folks over there and hope things turn out for the better even though they alot of things they could never replace over there. So I just wanna say Haiti im keeping yall in my prayers and I hope will never see another tragedy like this again, here's to better moments in 2010 and im trynna move on as THE WORLD KEEPS SPINNIN !!

Heres a Link to different ways you can donate to Haiti

Charles Hamilton is Back Again

Going into 2009 Chales Hamilton not Drake, not Wale, not Kid Cudi had proably the biggest buzz out of any of the new schoolers with his song that got mad spins "Brooklyn Girls" and his grind in the mixtape game, alongside a cypher with a couple of "big_hip_hop_stars'' . But as 2009 progressed Sir Charles caught more L's than Young Berg in 2008 which is hard to fuckin do !! From getting snuffed by his homegirl to Soulja Boy, Rhymefest, and some random White dude ethering him and some_other_L's_ that would stretch this blog out like octomoms pussy,if I had to get into them, It was a pretty tough year for him.

He also exposed himself by putting out too many mixtapes in my opinion, He put out atleast 8 mixtapes in 2009 and I sensed that once supporters were turned off if not by his blunt attitude then by his voice and his relentless blabber in some songs.Charles has the ability to make some crazy dope music but he always has the ability to make some lackluster music. Alot some might say he sounds drowsy when he raps sometime or ask why the uck he tries to sing when he know he cant. But one thing you cant front on in my opinion is the boy can spit !! He is very lyrical in my opinion and songs like "Voices" and "Ambitions_Of_Musicians" showcase that. I also think he is a great producer and some dope beats and has his own unique sound.

After taking a Hiatus from the game after taking some flact for what he claimed about the late. great Detriot producer J. Dilla, C. Hamilton is back !! Dropping his new mixtape "Normalcy".

There's one thing I noticed he hasn't lost it, he sounds hungry and ready to try to get back on top of his game and kill the game. He most defiantly hasn't fell off but can he fall back on in terms of being hot again that's the question. I think he could but only time will tell get em Charles !!

My Goals and Dreams

Crooked Long Fingers >> Crooked I's #NoShots

Well if you didnt know it's a new year and new decade which means it's time for newer and better things in my opinion. I only have like 2 life goals this year. One is getting more money than i have right now, which shouldnt be that hard considering im broke as fuck right now. A brotha gotta get a job this year. Speaking of job that leads to my second goal of the year which is be to be a bomb ass rapper and create a buzz for myself. Now I know your proably like "oh god not another wannabee rapper". But it's something I always wanted to do.I been a big fan of hip hop since i was a toddler. Lil Wayne's "Tha Carter II" made me fll in love with it.

Niggas like Wayne, Gucci Mane and Soulja Boy especially Soulja Boy inspired me.Because they all worked hard and got it poppin from having nothin on the table and now they some of the biggest stars in hip hop. Like Soulja Boy got famous off youtube and his dance and then people thought he was just gonna fade away..BUT NOPE FUCKERS !! he still here banging out hits and traveling across the world, selling ringtones and getting money, that inspires the hell out of me.

Now I know no one can blow up overnight it takes patience and the right things to go your way and I know most rappers fail and fall off quicker than premature ejaculation., and some niggas never even get on and they call posting they songs on JBTV a career (no shots). But I figured if some of these wack ass rappers could be all over the radio and tv (not saying no names), than WHY THE FUCK NOT ME ?!?!, especially when I feel I spit better lyrics than most of them, but c'mon in the mainstream who really cares about lyrics right ? it's all about image nowadays.

But anyways yeah im really going to try to get this rapping thing poppin and trying to getting money that's my goals for this year.I feel I have everything else down pact. So ummm stayed tune and join me on my adventure why dont cha

Sample Muzik : Anniversary

If you listen to Hip hop its a million percent chance you have heard a sample from a song of the past. I for one love samples because it puts me on music that otherwise I would have never heard of, or took the time to listen too. Because of my age and my taste you know ? I think producers like Kanye West, Justice L.E.A.G.U.E and 9th Wonder are some of the best samplers in the game right now. They know how to sample and sample very well.
Imma start something new on my blog where we look at a song that took a sample from an old song and then the original song and today we're gonna start with Tony ! Toni ! Tone ! classic song for the lovers "Anniversary" . Now this song was sampled by New Jersey Lyricist Joe Buddden on a deep track off of his Classic Mixtape Mood Muzick 2 "If I Die Tommorrow" take a listen to both.

Nicki Minaj Female Rap's Savior ?

Like it or not it seems that the fans have chosen the new savior of female Hip Hop. One of the few who stand out and a land where male dominate Nicki Minaj has made a statement in such a short time. From Going head to head and bar for bar with the Biggest Superstar in Hip Hop in Lil Wayne to trading verses with the hottest street artist in Gucci Mane to holding her own against New Jersey rhyme spitter Joe Budden in the BET Cypher to having a very dope Mixtape, I think its safe to say that Nicki Minaj is here to stay.

Some people may hate on her or her female brigade that call them "Barbies" but you cant hate on her and deny the fact that she has been grinding for everything she has gotten so far.I remember watching her on The Comeup Street DVD like 3 years back and I was like she was dope.I never thought she would be this huge this fast honestly. But like her label mate Drake she has found a patch for herself where the girls love her and wannabee like her some even wanna feel on her cookies and all the dudes will throw it in the bag for her,

Dont let her Looks fool you tho, accompanied by a energy and wacky sometimes cartoonish character, Nicki spits them ILL bars. Her flow like the president of her label is pretty effin crazy. She's very diverse , she also sings if you didnt know (checkout "Handstand" ft. Shanell and Lil Wayne's "Knockout").And she does well if I must say., is she as political as a Lauryn Hill ? No, Is she as vulgar as a Lil Kim ? sometimes...but is she her own rapper and unique in her own way ? Hell yeah she is !!

Not to mention the love she shows to her "barbies" and her "Ken's" which is very genuine, she goes on ustream and call her fans, she takes pics, she retweets and talks to them on twitter, she might even "SIGN YA BOOBS", her connection with her fans is a very close one, which is why some of them ride for her so hard. The barbie movement is a very big one, proably the biggest movement in hip hop right now and in urban neighborhood in America there's more than likely atleast one barbie.

The crazy thing is she doesnt even have an album out yet !! And she already is on tours and doing big time guest features and it's just beginning. Nicki has the full package the tasty looks, the go getter attitude, the exciting personality and the bomb ass music. No matter what you say you cant deny she is the last of a dying breed of female rappers and if the harajuku barbie is the choice we have as the female who will reign supreme in Hip Hop then in my opinion that wouldnt be a bad choice at all........
"Write it down take a picture bitches e-mail that, I came to save a thing called Female rap" - Nicki Minaj on "Can Anybody Hear me"
